OUR PURPOSE
Through YOSAKOI, a group anyone can join regardless of nationality, age and gender, members will be able to experience freedom from the bounds of language and cultural barriers. Through YOSAKOI we hope to introduce a little of the Japanese culture throughout New Zealand and hopefully to the world!Moreover, we will be communicating with Japan on a regular basis by encouraging Japanese YOSAKOI teams to come to New Zealand and dance together with our team. We also hope our YOSAKOI team can join the YOSAKOI SORAN Festival in Japan.
ORGANIZATION
Southern Stars is a voluntary group. We are supported by each and every one of our members and supporters.By encouraging one another's talent, we are able to form a great team.
MEMBER
Anyone can join regardless of their nationality and gender.(age limit : 7 years old or more)※children will attend with their parent or guidance.
MEMBERSHIP
No joining fee, Annual member ship fee $30 (Normally from April to March). Working Holiday will valied a year from whenever she/he joins.
PRACTICE
DATE & TIME : Every Sunday 11:00 - 13:00
VENUE: D/110 St.Lukes Rd, Sandringham,Auckland (* Tahaki Reserve, Mt.Eden)
*Please check the website every month. Practice plans for the following month will be made at the monthly meetings.
